Top 10 Free Press Release Submission Sites

This is the compliment of my last article on Top 10 Free Article Submission Sites.  A PR submission site differs from an Article submission site in that you are not submitting an article. Duh.  I know it sounds retarded, but soooo many people screw it up and end up just wasting their time and effort.  

An example of an article might be: "Top 10 Tricks for Covering Genital Herpes." 

In contrast, in a Press Release, you are submitting some sort of an announcement that you feel is newsworthy in hopes that it will get picked up somewhere and shared.  Web 2.0 has kind of blurred the lines between everything, so the distinction is a bit more fuzzy than it used to be.

A complimentary Press Release might be:  "Zolcor announces Weenie Paste -Subhead -Cure Embarrasing Herpes Breakout in just 10 days"



The next step would be to proceed to tell people about your revolutionary product, how it works, and where to get it.

So below is the list of Top 10 PR Submission sites I had created.  I have already paid to have the legwork done, so I thought I would pass the list and rankings to you folks so you don't have to go through the tiresome process of finding and ranking hundreds of submissions sites.

What you need to know about this list:

The rankings listed are from Alexa.   The number next to it represents the traffic rank.  The lower the number the better.  Traffic rank is a  combination of of it's reach (number of users as a percentage of all users on the internet during that period) and page views (how many pages people view on their site on average).  I have been using Alexa for a long time for both online and offline research, and their numbers are pretty sound.

Hey thanks for this info, JJ! I used Press Exposure and they didn't make the Top 10! That explains a lot!
